Sentiment rebounds
CHINESE consumer sentiment rebounded in March to the highest since July 2014 as hopes for household finances improved due to the central bank’s monetary policy and expectations of further stimulus measures, according to a latest study.
The Westpac MNI China Consumer Sentiment Indicator rose 2.4 percent from February to 114.7 in March, the Australian bank Westpac and German financial news company Market News International said in a joint survey covering 1,000 domestic respondents aged from 18 to 64 years.
