DingTalk to boost rural governance
ALIBABA’S enterprise communication and co-working platform DingTalk is pledging 100 million yuan (US$14.3 million) in subsidies for 100 counties and provincial-level cities to boost digital infrastructure at the grassroots level.
DingTalk Vice President Yang Meng said it plans to offer tailor-made solutions for rural areas and county-level government administrations to boost poverty alleviation efforts.
“It’s also our latest response to the nation’s call for smart infrastructure construction and we hope to raise efficiency of administrative work which will benefit residents and local merchants alike,” he added.
A variety of resources and capabilities will be available for county-level government agencies through DingTalk’s platform. Some of its previous industry solutions cover manufacturing, retail, health care and education.
