Youngster films pet quaker parrot using its beak to pull out his tooth

Pet owners have been known to get very attached to their beloved animals.

But one youngster and his quaker parrot share a relationship that goes that one step further again, Daily Mail reported.

Anton Androshchuk from Washington was captured on camera having his baby tooth removed by his pet parrot for the second time, the report said.

Perched on his shoulder, the bird can be seen searching inside its owner’s mouth for the wobbly premolar – as if entirely aware of its job.

Finding the correct tooth, it then sets about pulling it free as Anton closes his eyes and prepares for the pain, according to the report.

Suddenly the parrot emerges from the boy’s open mouth with the tooth secured inside its beak.

The boy then checks out the hole in the mirror while the parrot, who appears keen to pull another tooth, remains sitting on his shoulder.

This is the sixth time Anton has had a tooth removed by the parrot and the second time he has recorded it on video.

The previous time the bird spent far longer working on the tooth before it was able to pull it free from his mouth.
