Turkey detains Gulen's nephew: report
TURKISH authorities have detained Mohammet Sait Gulen, the nephew of the US-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen, after the coup attempt, NTV reported on Saturday.
The investigation was ongoing by the public prosecutor's office in Ankara, according to the report.
Mohammet Sait Gulen was detained in the northeastern Turkish city of Erzurum and will be questioned in Ankara, the report said.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan demanded the extradition of the cleric living in the US whom he accused of orchestrating the July 15 coup attempt.
Turkish government has repeatedly called on the US to return Gulen to Turkey.
Turkish officials recently filed a request to their American counterparts for the cleric's extradition.
