6.7-magnitude quake hits Canada

AN earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale jolted 88 km south of Port Hardy, Canada on Thursday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 49.9 degrees north latitude and 127.4 degrees west longitude.
