Hairstylist Paints on Floor with Clipped Hair

For most people, clipped hair is nothing but rubbish, but under the hands of a creative hairstylist from northeast China’s Jilin Province, the trash became art.
Wang Xiaojiu, 31, collects clipped hair every day and uses them to draw floor paintings featuring Sailor Moon (a popular Japanese cartoon character), Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Monkey King and China’s legendary kung fu superstar Bruce Lee.
Wang started doing it only a few months ago. Every day after work, he squats on the floor and “draws” with a brush and a plastic card.
The hair paintings look so real and delicate that they seemed to be done with charcoal pencil if seen from distance.
However, to keep the hair salon clean, these art pieces cannot stay long on the ground. So the only way to preserve them is in the memory; Wang takes photos of the hair paintings before clearing them off.
