Tired driver damages six parked cars after veering from road
A tired driver injured himself when he crashed into a parked car at high speed, damaging five other parked cars in the process, in Shanghai's Songjiang District on July 25.
The incident occurred at 3:35am when he veered off the road, because of fatigue, and slammed into a parked car on the roadside in Dongjing Town.
After tests at the scene, police ruled out the possibility that the 41-year-old driver, surnamed Wu, was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Wu explained he was just "too tired".
Despite the amount of damage caused, Wu only suffered minor injuries.
