Motorcycle Modified 'Porsche' Hits Road In Zhuhai
Traffic police in Zhuhai city, south China’s Guangdong Province spotted a “Porsche” sports car, made from a motorcycle on the city’s Zhuhai Avenue around 6pm on July 14.
The driver will be fined 4,500 yuan (US$682). Six points will also be put on his driving license.
According to the initial investigation, the mini “roadster” disguised as a luxury car was a totally handmade, transformed from a motorcycle. A “Porsche” sign can be seen on the front of the “car”. It was equipped with steering wheel, accelerator, brake, head light and tail light.
And this case didn’t stand alone.
This sports car below was made from a bicycle.
Wang Jianyan from Suqian, Jiangsu Province has spent 60,000 yuan to build a car like Lamborghini Reventón sports car in a ratio of 1:1, with parts from two secondhand cars, one Nissan minivan and one secondhand Santana.
Chen Jinmiao from Chenzhou city, Hunan Province has spent 20,000 yuan to make a copycat Lamborghini car in two years.
A hair salon owner from Kunming, Yunnan Province spent 90,000 yuan to build a “Lamborghini” car in 12 days.
Traffic police warned against modified cars like these, as they are likely to cause accidents.
