Man Builds Race Car Out of Scrap Iron
A homemade Formula One car caught the attention of passers-by near Feiyue Road in Changchun, capital city of Jilin Province, on August 16.
Photos of the car soon went viral on social media.
The owner, surnamed Wang, said the car was built out of scrap iron he collected from the recycle station.
Wang began obsessed with cars, particularly F1 cars, when he was very young. To realize his childhood dream, he decided to build his own.
Though the car is not drivable, it well shows how smart and creative ordinary Chinese people can be.
