Exercise Between Classes At Elementary School Comparable To Gymnastics
The exercises during class break at the Mingzhu Elementary School in Jinan, capital of east China’s Shandong Province, have startled the Internet as they were almost as challenging as gymnastics.
The exercises include difficult poses such as splits, forward rolls, bending backward, standing upside down on shoulders and elbows.
The school’s PE teachers and art teachers cooperated to create the exercises. Students of junior grade are only required to practice simple movements while those of senior grade have to complete the whole exercise.
Most of the students practice 10 minutes every day before bedtime.
“Kids between 7 and 12 years old are most flexible,” a PE teacher surnamed Zou said. “Such exercises can boost their strength and protect them from getting hurt while exercising.”
