You can celebrate Thanksgiving far from home

On Thanksgiving Day, a major national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada, people give thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving has its historical roots in religious and cultural traditions.

The celebration of Thanksgiving would be unthinkable without a turkey dinner. At one time, turkey was considered as the national symbol of America. Benjamin Franklin thought that turkey was the right choice because it was a good runner and had sharp vision.

Eating turkey with cranberry sauce is a must for Thanksgiving dinner. Shanghai, being the international city that it is, offers plenty of places to get you filled with fresh turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Here are some choices.
