Kicking down doors

A new series on martial arts legend and movie star Bruce Lee is now being showcased at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government website said on last Friday.

The exhibit includes the first edition of “Chinese Kung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self-Defense,” which is autographed by Lee, and several reels of movie trailers including the popular “The Big Boss” and “Fist of Fury.” There’s also behind-the-scenes photos from the set of “Enter the Dragon” and stills and posters of various films.
Themed “A Collection of Insights, Memories and Pride,” it will feature more than 600 items related to Lee on loan from a number of local and overseas collectors and institutions, including 200 sets of items from the collection of Jeff Chinn, a collector from San Francisco.
The exhibition has been well received by the public since it was launched in July 2013.
