T-shirts as real art

ITALIAN menswear brand Vittorio Di Giacomo is teaming up with Dutch painter Peter Riezebos to produce a new batch of “art T-shirt” for this season.
The fashion brand chooses six paintings from Riezebos’ latest works and prints them on their iconic white and black T-shirts, while the artist made some adjustment personally on the paintings to fit the fashion design better. The T-shirts are now sold in VDG’s 31 stores in China at a price of 880 yuan (US$139.7). Riezebos is known for his bold colors and abstract and daring style. The artist has held solo exhibitions in museums and galleries both in Shanghai and Amsterdam.
