Swatch anniversary

SWATCH Art Peace Hotel recently celebrated its fifth anniversary with resident artist open studios, “Traces” exhibition and “Grain God Narrative” show. Guests were invited to visit the workshops of artists who are currently in residence at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, and to explore the exhibition by former artists-in-residence. They were on display at the premises of the landmark heritage building on the Bund. In the five years since it opened in November 2011, the Swatch Art Peace Hotel’s 18 workshops and apartments have welcomed more than 220 artists from over 40 countries, thus contributing to Shanghai’s vibrant contemporary art scene. The “Grain God Narrative” will remain open until February 14, 2017.
