CITY’SUPER recently unveiled its latest store at Taikoo Hui in Shanghai, along with its life concept outlet city’super LOG-ON. The new store is the largest of the four outlets in town, with a capacity of 4,000sqm.
The newly-open store is eyeing a “catering service” to offer quality in-store experience to face the fierce challenge of E-commerce, said Thomas Woo, president of the lifestyle group. It is the only one equipped with a dry-aged beef counter at its Meat Deli. There’s also a wine bar where consumers can grab a drink for 30 yuan (US$4.56), to go along with Spanish tapas and other snacks available at The Gourmet Counter.
