2015 Germany F1 GP off
FORMULA One Grand Prix organizers confirmed on Friday that the German leg of this year’s championship scheduled for July 19 has been cancelled due to the lack of a venue.
Formula One’s governing body the FIA has issued a revised calendar featuring just 19 races instead of the original 20. The sport’s controlling magnate Bernie Ecclestone had said in January that 2014 host Hockenheim would again stage the race, which normally alternates with the rival Nurburgring track, which has new owners and no contract for 2015.
