Sizzling Ko shares lead with Pressel in Arkansas

NEW Zealand’s world No. 1 Lydia Ko fired a record-equalling second-round 62 on Saturday to seize a share of the lead with Morgan Pressel at the LPGA NW Arkansas Championship.
Ko’s 9-under effort equalled the tournament scoring record and put her in a tie with Americans Pressel on 14-under par 128. Pressel posted her low round of the year with a bogey-free 8-under par 63 on Friday at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. The two go into the final round of the 54-hole event with a two-stroke lead over China’s Jing Yan, and Canadian Alena Sharp, who carded 65s,and Chinese Taipei’s Candie Kung (66).
