Wu rides best

CHINESE cyclist Wu Fei raced to a record 44.48 kilometers per hour to win the one-lap World Guinness Challenge at the Shanghai International Circuit, which was hosting the last leg of 2015 Skoda Heros China Cycling Series. Over 1,000 cyclists were competing in eight categories. It was the first time that a cycling race was held at a circuit in China. The race also raised 20,000 yuan for osteosarcoma patients. The China cycling series was launched this year, combining several existing cycling events. Seven of the 10 races were held in Shanghai.
