Langer snubs England
JUSTIN Langer has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant England coaching job after renewing his contract with Western Australia for two more years.
Langer, who played 105 tests for Australia, said he spoke to England director of cricket Andrew Strauss twice last week about replacing Peter Moores, but decided to stay in Perth for family and other reasons. In a statement yesterday, the former test opener said: “When I followed my gut and my heart it was an easy decision.”
