Andrew Wiggins has signed a five-year contract extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the NBA club announced on Wednesday, tying down the 22-year-old forward through the 2022/23 campaign. The deal, reportedly for the maximum US$148 million and starting next year, adds security for the club after a stellar campaign for the 2014 top pick in the NBA Draft on a team that finished 31-51.
