THE 2016 SHKP Vertical Run — Race to Shanghai IFC was held at Lujiazui’s International Financial Center on Sunday.
The annual event gathered 1,700 runners from home and abroad to take part in individual and team competitions, climbing steps to reach the 254-meter high terminal set in IFC. Australian Mark Bourne won the men’s elite race in 7 minutes and 42 seconds, while compatriot Suzy Walsham won the women’s elite race in 9:15. All the registration and sponsorship income will be donated to the Shanghai Children’s Health Foundation.
