THE Shanghai International Tower Running Grand Prix was held at Wheelock Plaza in Jing’an District yesterday. The event attracted local vertical marathon lovers as well as runners from some eastern and southern China provinces to challenge the 270-meter high structure. Zeng Wenbo and Fan Fengjuan won the men’s and women’s crowns, respectively, clocking 6 minutes 37 seconds and 9:03. The event, a part of the 2nd Shanghai Citizen’s Meet, is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among white collar workers.
