Uruguay reached the Rugby World Cup for a fifth time on Saturday with victory over the United States. The South Americans overturned a narrow first leg 16-19 defeat to win the return tie in Montevideo, 34-15. At the 2023 World Cup, Uruguay will be in the same pool as host France, New Zealand and Italy. The US can still reach the RWC but it will have to defeat Chile in a final playoff in July.
