Gabon gala greets guests

GABON celebrates its National Pavilion Day today with song and dance performances.

The theme of the pavilion in Zone C is "Interaction Between Urban and Rural Areas." The slogan: "We come from the countryside and go to the cities. Having explored and achieved, we will return to the countryside."

The exhibition covers residential and workplace architecture, transport, culture, the environment and environmental protection.

It shows how the country aims to achieve "complete urban-rural integration" and strike a balance in development between traditional and modern culture.

The nation on the Atlantic coast of central Africa also showcases 13 natural parks, their plants, wildlife and tourism resources.
