Chinese Official Criticizes US Negotiator

CHINA'S Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei has lashed out at the top United States climate negotiator, saying he either lacks common sense or is "extremely irresponsible."

He was responding to comments by US climate envoy Todd Stern that China shouldn't expect any American climate aid money and that the US was not in any debt to the world for its historical carbon emissions.

Speaking about Stern to reporters in Copenhagen yesterday, He said "I think he lacks common sense or is extremely irresponsible."
