In helping hands

Brands Inc China Division, hugs Zhang Ling, a student at the Guixi Primary School in Beichuan County, Sichuan Province, the hardest hit area of the earthquake in May last year. More than 11,000 primary school students in Sichuan have benefited from a charity program launched last October by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, the fast food chain and the United Nations World Food Programme. The program has raised about 10 million yuan (US$1.46 million) for the Sichuan children.
