Kick-start education

He Minxian, 10, practices martial arts at a kung fu school in central China's Henan Province. The boy performed at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Paralympics Games last year and the parade for the National Day celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. His Shanghai parents sent him to the school, at the foot of the Songshan Mountain, five years ago for being naughty. The school, with classes ranging from kindergarten to college, has about 24,000 students.
