Test-taker prizes

EDUCATIONAL Testing Service, the creator of both the TOEFL and TOEIC tests, will launch scholarship programs recognizing academic excellence by Chinese test takers, officials said yesterday.

Forty US$1,500 TOEFL scholarships will be awarded directly to the universities of 20 undergraduate and 20 graduate students demonstrating excellence.
