Chinese navy supply ship Qiandaohu escorts merchant vessels in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Somalia. The ship was part of China's third fleet assigned to protect merchant vessels from pirates in the Gulf of Aden. The fleet has successfully escorted 25 merchant ships through the gulf.
