Suspected Shooter's Family Deplores Killings

THE family of the suspected Fort Hood shooter says "the actions of their cousin are despicable and deplorable."

A spokeswoman for Nidal Malik Hasan's family said relatives in northern Virginia were reaching out to law enforcement to offer insight.

Hasan cleaned out his apartment in the days before the rampage, a neighbor said yesterday, and mentioned that he was going to be deployed.
