New-born tiger

Deng Xiping, a porcelain engineer, shows a tiger cub she created yesterday in Jingdezhen City, known as the porcelain capital in ancient China, in Jiangxi Province. The color of the tiger, similar to a real one, was created by firing in a kiln with a temperature of 1,370 degrees Celsius. Deng produced a tiger-theme series works, marking the Year of Tiger for 2010.
