Belly dancers shimmy in Shanghai

PROFESSIONAL American belly dancers will shake their stuff between December 15 and 19 at Shanghai Theater Academy.

This is the first performance by the Bellydance Superstars on the Chinese mainland.

Founded in 2002, Bellydance Superstars has more than 100 top dancers and has performed concerts in more than 20 countries to well over a million people in over 600 shows.

The Shanghai performance will be led by Sonia, whose style is fluid and sensual with a natural grace.

Ticket prices range from 120 yuan (US$18) to 580 yuan.
