A CRIME boss was jailed for 20 years by an intermediate court in Chongqing city today, as part of a citywide crackdown on criminal gangs.

Li Yi, nicknamed Mickey Mouse, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined 1.01 million yuan (US$147,900) today by Chongqing No.2 Intermediate People's Court for heading a gang that ran transport and businesses in Linjiang Town.

Li was also found guilty of arson, robbery, extortion, intentional injury, and illegal possession of guns, according to China News Service.
