10 die in bus crash after funeral

TEN people died after a bus carrying 28 passengers from a funeral home plunged down a hill in Zhejiang Province yesterday, Oriental Morning Post reported today.

All were on their way back from the funeral home where a villager surnamed Ying was cremated, according to the report.

The bus plunged off the road on top of Dawushan Mountain about 2:30 pm and fell about 100 meters down a cliff.

Injured passengers were sent to hospital in Jiangshan City.

The accident is still under investigation.
