AIDS woman's blog proves a fake

A WOMAN is fighting to clear her reputation after a blogger posted a thread in her name saying she had contracted AIDS after working as a prostitute in Beijing.

Yan Deli, 29, took a test to prove she was HIV negative, China News Service reported today.

Police are investigating after the blog post showed photographs of Yan, her ID cards and revealed her address. The entry also posted telephone numbers that purported to be those of her clients.

Yan said the Internet post might be by a disgruntled ex-boyfriend. She took the AIDs test at her hometown in Rongcheng County of Hebei Province's Baoding City. Yan plans further tests at a higher level hospital to double check the results, her cousin Yan Guoqing said.
