Folk dance and culture show tours to Fengxian

CHINESE traditional arts such as folk dances and songs, handicrafts such as papercuts, and performances on the guqin stringed instrument will be the highlights of a show staged in Fengxian District from the end of the month.

This is the 10th and longest stop on the show's nationwide tour. It will be held at Shenlong Park from September 30 to October 12, Xinmin Evening News reported today.

The performance spectacular, which will celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and showcases China's intangible cultural heritage, was launched in Beijing in 2006.
