Turk is world's tallest

Sultan Kosen stands 2.47 meters tall in front of Tower Bridge in London with a group of school children. Kosen, from the town of Mardin in eastern Turkey, was crowned the planet's tallest man yesterday by Guinness World Records. Although previous record holder Ukrainian Leonid Stadnyk reportedly measured 2.57 meters, Guinness said he was stripped of his title when he declined to let anyone confirm his height.
