2 More Swine Flu Deaths In Taiwan

TAIWAN'S health authorities yesterday reported two more deaths from swine flu, bringing the island's toll to 14.

The two victims were an eight-year-old girl with cerebral palsy and a 23-year-old pregnant woman. Health authorities said the pregnant woman's fetus was still alive but in critical condition.

Both deaths occurred on Sunday in Zhanghua County.

As of yesterday, 222 critical H1N1 flu cases had been reported on the island, of which 61 were still in hospital.
