TEST runs began today on Beijing's new Metro Line 4, which is due to open to the public on September 28.
The new track is the capital's ninth Metro line and links tourist attractions such as as the Summer Palace, Peking University, and Yuan Mingyuan Park, according to Beijing's Legal Mirror today.
Trains on the new line will run every three minutes after it opens. Hong Kong-based MTR Corporation Ltd will operate the service along 24 stations.
THE Expo section of Metro Line 13 will open mid-April for Shanghai 2010 World Expo workers and tourists only. Tourists can take the trains free with their Expo tickets after a security check, Wenhui Daily reported...
