Space heroes touch down

Shenzhou VII "taikonauts," (from left) Zhai Zhigang, Jing Haipeng and Liu Boming gather yesterday in Shanghai ahead of attending the opening ceremony today of a space exhibition in the Shanghai Exhibition Center. Zhai performed a 20-minute spacewalk during Shenzhou's last mission on September 27, 2008, making China the world's third nation to independently carry out the walk. A trove of items, some used for the spacewalk, will feature in the two-week show in the city that ends on July 18.
