PART of a wall surrounding a construction site collapsed yesterday, killing five passers-by, in the county seat of Fuyuan in southwest China's Yunnan Province, according to the local work safety department.
A truck rolled over at the site and struck the wall, which fell on five people walking along the street. An official, who declined to be named, said the truck driver, Zhou Xiaoyin, had been detained by police. Authorities were still trying to find the identities of the victims.
