Nine dead in truck-bus crash in north China

A HEAVY-duty truck collided with a bus in north China's Hebei Province yesterday, leaving nine people dead and another 10 injured.

The accident occurred at 4 pm in Hejian, Cangzhou City, killing seven at the scene, according to the Hejian municipal publicity department. Two died in the hospital.

The truck driver was killed as were eight bus passengers.

Two injured passengers are in critical condition.

Police are investigating the accident.
