IRAN said yesterday that it expelled two British diplomats for "unconventional behavior," without providing details. The confirmation came after Britain said it sent two Iranian diplomats home in response to Iran's action. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said his government was "disappointed that Iran has placed us in this position," adding that Britain would continue to seek good relations with Tehran.
