AUTHORITIES have ordered a one-week closure of all schools and kindergartens in a southern China township where 37 students from the same primary school have been confirmed as H1N1 cases.

The order came after seven new cases were reported on Monday among pupils at the Shipai Township Central Primary School in Dongguan City.

Last week, 30 of its pupils were diagnosed as having swine flu and the school, which has 1,314 students, was closed.
