THE NBA will make its debut in Chinese Taipei later this year with a pre-season game between the Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers. The US basketball league is looking to expand its global reach and has scheduled the game for October 8. "Basketball has higher participation than any other sport in Taiwan," local NBA general manager Justin Kuan said on the sidelines of a news conference to announce the pre-season game.
