CHINA'S Health Ministry this afternoon reported a suspected input A/H1N1 influenza case in Fujian Province. The 22-month-old girl flew with her family from New York City to Hong Kong on flight CX841 and arrived in Hong Kong at 2pm, May 20.
They stayed in Hong Kong airport for three hours and then boarded the flight KA662 to fly to Fuzhou City's Changle International Airport and arrived at 6:30pm. The girl and her family took a taxi to return their home in Changle City under Fuzhou.
She developed fever and acute respiratory symptoms on Thursday morning. She was sent to Changle Hospital later that day and transferred to a Fuzhou hospital this morning.
The taxi driver has been found. Eight people who had had close contact with the girl have been put under medical observation.
