PASSENGERS flying from Pudong International Airport won't be affected by swine flu checks.
They should arrive at the airport about two hours ahead of takeoff for international flights as normal, an airport quarantine official said yesterday. "Improved quarantine precautions so far only focus on incoming flights and do not affect outbound trips."
Ships arriving from overseas are being checked for swine flu, port immigration authorities said.
Wusong Port immigration police said immigration officers would not board vessels to clear Customs procedures until quarantine workers had complete checks onboard.
Meanwhile, port immigration police detained a man trying to sell a drug he said could cure swine flu at the dock. Police found him trying to sell to foreign sailors.
