TAICANG, in neighboring Jiangsu Province, has kicked off the 2009 Southern China Peony Cultural Festival. More than 100,000 peonies of 360 species are being exhibited in the festival, which occupies about 4,667 square meters.
The festival is being held in Liuhe Town, which borders Shanghai's Baoshan District, until May 3.
