99 Percent of Proposals Heard

MORE than 99 percent of the proposals from China's political advisors over the past year received response from related departments or were handled in line with the country's laws, said a senior political advisor yesterday.

Zhang Rongming, vice chairwoman of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC, made the remarks at the annual session of the country's top advisory body.

Political consultants raised 5,056 proposals over the past year.
