TWO people were killed and seven others injured in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Saturday when a love-forsaken man torched a cell phone shop run by his ex-girlfriend.
Police confirmed yesterday that the dead were Wang Xiaoming, the perpetrator, and his ex-girlfriend surnamed Lei. Witnesses said Wang entered the shop in Beitun Town in Altay City with two buckets of gasoline. He poured one bucket of gas in the shop and set it on fire.
